Overall  Summary

Through APD course, I’ve been working on a bunch of playful test, including animations, particles, gameplays and stop motions.  I considered this course to be my playground of my studio project. The majority of the tests for each week assignment has already used in my game “Season”, and the rest of the rests provide ideas and inspirations of future projects. For example, in the topic “Play and Tinkering”, the snowing and petal particle system that I played with has been put into my game, and has upgraded the aesthetic of the scene. Others like the umbrella I played with “Object” and the wind I played with “Force” could be other game mechanics. 

 

I believe this course teach me to work much on playful and creative ideas. The weekly assignments are not the tasks just for doing some test that only for these themes. The assignments might be the foundation of what I will do in Studio 4.
